Branding Philosopher Timothy M Webster of Timothy Maurice and Associates was the main attraction at the Kydz Inc launch that was held over the weekend.

Kydz Inc , the annual programme by Milestone Training and Events that exposes teenagers to businesses in Polokwane, kicked off the past weekend with presentations on branding, innovation, responsibility, social media, setting goals, interviewing for a vacancy and communication.

The main attraction at this year's launch was Timothy M Webster of Timothy Maurice and Associates, an international authority on branding who started the proceedings with a presentation about personal branding (see the video above)

Presenters

Nico Prinsloo of MyPolokwane.com gave a presentation about Social Media and the legacy that online activity leaves behind while Johan Erasmus of Erasmus Therapy gave a presentation about the setting of goals. Dirk Badenhorst of Sure Kudu Travels talked about conducting an interview for a vacancy and Thalin Murray of Davel, De Klerk, Kgatla talked to the students about responsibility and what it entails.

Dia van Staden of Milestone Training discussed the different personality profiles with the students and helped them get to know each other a bit better.

The launch was held in the auditorium of Pietersburg Hoërskool.

Kydz Inc

Kydz Inc, the brain child of Van Staden, is a programme in which Kydz students get the opportunity to visit and get to know the businesses of different business people in the city. It also trains the students in a practical way in different disciplines such as advertising, interviewing, planning and a myriad other skills.
