In a previous post I shared the first recipe I tried out for me and hubby’s ‘taste the world’ experience.
I am still focusing on the spicy aromas of  North Africa - next on our plate was this delicious recipe from Egypt. The Egyptians call it macaroni bechamel. Apparently very popular in Egypt.

I have decided that me and hubby are going to eat the world!
I am bringing the aromas of the world to our kitchen.

We are going to eat dishes from different countries each week/ or month.
(Thanks to the internet, another culture’s cuisine is available by the click of the mouse.)

Old wives' tales are perhaps as old as language itself. They're part of our oral tradition, originating long before pen and ink, books and movies, and certainly before the Internet.  I remember my mom, warning me not to eat while I’m laying in front of the television - if I do, i will grow horns!!

Artist  and 'urban bitch' Sharlene Khan is voicing her beliefs, fears, hung ups and thoughts through art at a current exhibition at the Polokwane Art Museum.
And it is definitely worth seeing.

I am very pleased to see that the curator is bringing good art exhibitions to the city.

I love the cold weather during winter, but the only thing I don’t like about winter is a dry crocodile skin. I cover myself in cream every morning and  evening, but I am still as dry as the Kalahari desert.

The skin has a tendency to become rather flaky in appearance in the winter mainly because it becomes dried out.
