I feel the earth move

By Molly

Carole King said it first: I feel the earth move under my feet.

Festival goers in Limpopo will soon feel the rhythm of the earth - the Boabab Beat is around the corner!

From Danny K to PJ Powers. From Dr Victor to the country’s favourite gospel queen, Rebecca Malope. From pop to rock, from reggae to gospel. From pantsula to break dance.
From jazz to poetry.
From vetkoek to marog, from wine to mampoer. From cocktails to models.
The Baobab Beat caters for every individual taste. Also, unique to this year’s festival, is the  plenty authentic South African food stalls and a tavern a la township tent.

A jazz, dance and poetry line-up on the Sunday, also forms part of this year’s exciting programme.
Remember the second Baobab Beat, again organised by the Polokwane Chamber of Business, is happening from September 3-6 at the Polokwane cricket grounds and everyone is invited to join in the festivities. For the full programme, go to www.baobabbeat.co.za or contact Morné at 072 137 3693.
