The Cancer Association of South Africa Relay For Life is a community-driven overnight team event that honours cancer survivors and remembers those lost to the disease.
It involves team members taking turns walking the track as a symbol of a day/night in the life of a cancer survivor. A festival-like atmosphere prevails inside and around the track where teams pitch tents and provide food and fun activities. The event also raises much-needed funds.
