A privileged to have been part of Relay For Life 2009! The support, energy, vibe etc was amazing! We, as a community, are truly going from strength to strength in support of Cansa. We work, we laugh, we cry, we remember, we hope, we join the fight against cancer, we celebrate life as a community...

We made new friends, catch up with old friends; we showed that the Polokwane community supports each other and this good cause.

Today (the day after), most of us are tired with sore feet etc, but we know this is nothing in comparison to what our brave survivors and those not with us anymore has gone through - we salute all of them, their caretakers, friends and families.

Results of our record attempt will be available on Monday and though we did not reach our target or set a World Record, we will register for this record again!

Please share your comments/ideas and suggestions on Relay 2009; as a collective with all your inputs, we can just improve.

The date for the wrap up function will be communicated soon and the top teams in terms of fundraising, sponsors, media etc will be invited as in 2008.

Registration for Relay For Life 2010 will open within the next week.
