Take me where the sun is shining...
The Cansa Relay For Life 2009 launch took place on Friday, 29 May 2009 at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane.
Close to a 1000 people celebrated life, remembered those not with us anymore, our survivors confirmed that they are fighting back with the support of family, friends and the Polokwane community.
Ramakone Moloto, Eileen Schofield & Ed Hillary shared their personal experiences with the audience - we salute you.
Survivors, our own fighters, as always you made us proud. Jonita and team, this world is a better place because of people like you.
The Coleske brothers and world known guitarist, Mauritz Lotz added magic to the evening with an outstanding performance! No wonder their CD's sold out within the hour. Thank you - you are the best!
... and the sun is still shining...
New Registered teams: DHL, Nashua Mobile & Polokwane Observer.
Run/Walk for life entered three teams at the launch.
Cheray Jackson from CJ Marketing mentioned the Relay For Life at the Ladies Breakfast hosted by the Association for Person with Disabilities and Truworths immediately entered a team!
