Club Championship on Polokwane Oval

Event Description:
FIRST SPRINT CARS IN POLOKWANE FOR 2010.
Polokwane Oval is hosting the Ultimate Sprint cars on 27 March at the Polokwane Showground.
This 800Hp Machine with a weight of only 600Kg including the driver are really a crowd pleaser and spectators can be assured that the Champion Johan Fourie will be more on two wheels that four.
Tyres for these cars run up to R4800 for the right rear and at least one tyre give notice during a race night.
These cars are also scheduled to race during the National Championships in Polokwane on 6 November 2010.
6 Other classes will also be competing for top honours.

WB van Niekerk currently on slick tyres will command the race from the front in the Rookies. He is preparing to advance in 2011 into the Hotrod class. Spectators should not miss this 14 year old.
The Stockrodclass is ruled by the National Champion SA1 Jean Cronje. Closing in on him is Tienie Klopper SA3 and Charlene Cooper in her trusted Ford. Pieter Velloen in his new car will be the wild card as his car gets better during every race.
Fred Cooper & Co was troubled with technical problems during the previous meeting but the Fords are sorted now and Deon Pretorius and Sybrand thysse will have their mirrors full of Cooper Racing’s cars.
Rudi van Breda, the cat amongst the Venter Pigeons is causing havoc. His car is sorted from all technical problems but the experience of the Racing 41 group will have a big influence on the outcome. Predictions are that the track will be full of fibreglass panels and temper out the window.
Ian van Niekerk got a hiding from Brother Willa during the previous meeting and defeat got stuck in the throat.
WB van Niekerk, the 14 year old Rookie will also in this fight. Allas Pienaar and newcomer Willie Koekemoer will complete the grid.
Johan Botes was troubled with major technical problems in his golden Peugeot during the Potties event but seems to be sorted and the V8 Super saloons will complete the nights racing. Andre Horn has fitted racing brakes to his Peugeot and it is gloves off.

Gates open at 14:00 and racing starts at 19:00. Food stalls and a bar will for the hungry and thirsty will be available.
