Round Table Impala 157 of Polokwane held their annual blanket collection for the underprivileged at the Spur entrance of Mall of the North on Friday night.

Tablers collected blankets from 18:00 to midnight and were not allowed to wear any jerseys or jackets.

When MyPolokwane visited at 18:30 they already had quite a collection of blankets which were cut from a roll of blanket material as they were paid by donation of R50.

"We collected +/- 350 items of clothing, 100 blankets, and enough money to buy an additional 244 blankets!
