WHO PAINTED THE BAYS FOR THE STREET MECHANICS, THE MUNICIPALITY?

The street mechanics painted bays on the pavements to secure their working areas. The competition is tough!

And the municipality does nothing about it!

MUNICIPALITY STILL TURNS A DEAF EAR

The Polokwane municipality turns a deaf ear to complaints by owners of businesses in President Kruger Street about sidewalk mechanics who are damaging the road infrastructure and polluting the stormwater system with their oil spills.

This morning, after the good rain, this is what owners found again. MyPolokwane alerted the municipality's media office the previous time we published this, but it seems nothing was done and one can expect nothing will be done as the rights of people to make a so-called living, takes precedence over businesses who provide jobs as well as the tax payer who must pay for the upkeep of the damaged street surface.

MUNICIPALITY SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

These photographs were taken the last few months in front of our business. The situation is getting worse all the time, is this how we should build a descent society? People dispose of  their used motor oil on the pavement!!
