Blood Service Polokwane honours donors

Mr Wilhelm Willemse (left) receives his medal for 225 units of blood donated from Mr Paul Kruger (368 units) at the South African National Blood Service 2009 medal ceremony held in Polokwane.

Donors are allowed to donate every 56 days which means that Mr Willemse donated about 37 years uninterrupted and Mr Kruger 61 years (his first donation was at the age of 16)
