The donor personnel of the SA National Blood Service (SANBS) in Polokwane decided to use an unorthodox method to bring home their plight for blood on Thursday.

SANBS in Polokwane needs at least 30 units per day but are struggling to reach the target. Winter is that time of the year when people are unable to donate because of flu. The demand for blood however does not reduce in winter. We hope this gesture will get more people to donate their gift of life.

Especially in the blood group O-Neg. (the wonder group) their is always a need.
