Data dot consists of tiny discs, about the size of a grain of sand, each laser etched with multiple line of code. The code is unique for each asset. The code is stored on a national database. ln some instances DataDot simply carries the "prelmary identifier" issued by the manufacturer — for example the VIN as issued by the manufacturer. All DataDot fitment centres and Asset Kit applications use a unique PIN number which is linked to you for life.

Data Base

With each application we register the PIN Number together with your details, this is included in the cost of the product. If you wish to access your information or build your own personal asset register you can subscribe to the DataDot data base and keep a secure record of your property outside of your home. Protecting your assets by making the theft or sale of parts or assets unviable to criminal elements. They are contaminated by 1000's of microdots that can not be removed entirely. You have given your assets a lifetime DNA trace for identification years from now.
