Martin Grobler (Absa), Tommie Richards (Absa), Sally Hansen (Pathways Foundation), Sonja Randall (Absa) and Sue Altenroxel (Principal of Mitchellhouse Enrichment Centre in Polokwane) with staff and pupils of the Enrichment Centre. Pupils of the Mitchellhouse Enrichment Centre are children with special needs who participate in mainstream education. The handing over ceremony took place in the junior class of the centre where the smaller children are looked after.
The cheque was handed over on 25 June 2009 by Tommie Richards, Martin Grobler and Sonja Randall of Absa who enjoyed scones, tea and coffee prepared by the pupils themselves. Pupils of the Enrichment Centre also acted as waiters and waitresses and they served the guests and members of Mitchellhouse's staff with great distinction and without any mishaps.

Kuda, a pupil of the Mitchelhouse Enrichment Centre, serves guests their scones and tea.

Guests fill out their orders so the waiters know what to get from the kitchen. Waiting teaches the students with special needs how to fully participate in society.

A jacuzzi was bought with part of the Absa donation. The jacuzzi was a great need for use in water therapy.

The Mitchellhouse Enrichment Centre will start one more class before the end of the year but even after that, they still have a waiting list of more than 20 children. Classes are restricted to 8 pupils with a teacher and teacher's assistant to ensure proper attention is given to each individual.
